Parents are notified that children may not attend Harcourt Pre-School if they are ill or are infectious. Please see the notice displayed on the cloakroom notice board.
The guidelines are:
Vomiting or diarrhoea – return after 48 hours has elapsed since the last bout.
High temperature – return once the child’s temperature returns to normal or when the child’s doctor confirms the child is well enough to attend.
Chicken pox – return once all the spots have crusted over.
Parents are requested to inform staff of any infections the child may have, including threadworm, head lice, chicken pox, measles and slap-cheek.
